Top Tip!
Have you ever wondered why you can't find a gardener when you need one?
- The busiest time for gardeners is from February to October (the growing season). Most gardeners have regular maintenance clients that take them through the growing season and often through the year. The quieter times are from November to January.
- Waiting until May, June, July or even August before trying to book a gardener is rarely the answer as regular maintenance will be well under way and diaries tight! (You would be surprised at the number of potential clients who leave it late and are disappointed when we have to tell them we are fully booked!)
- So book a gardener in the quieter time. Call us well in advance of the growing season, say over winter or even better book a one off tidy up in October with regular maintenance the following season!
- We are happy to take bookings at anytime throughout the year but we do get booked up fairly quickly. If you need garden maintenance then don't hesitate and contact us now.

Booking Now for Spring / Summer Maintenance 2012 (& Pre-booking Autumn / Winter 2012/13)
Most of our preparatory and tidying work is undertaken in the autumn and winter months. Leaving such work until the spring and summer is too late as by spring, the garden is growing and the ground is starting to dry out.
We undertake most of our "one-off" jobs (e.g. tidying borders, cutting back shrubs, clearing overgrown gardens, creating new beds as well as leaf clearing) during the autumn and winter period.
Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to garden ALL YEAR ROUND and the best gardens are those that are given a regular winter overhaul!
Most of our work in the spring and summer is regular maintenance rather than one off work. Tidying borders and preparing a garden for the season is usually completed by mid March each year and should usually be booked over the previous autmun/winter.

Gardening really is not just for spring and summer!
If you want your garden to look its best in spring and summer then this can only be achieved with the benefit of work being done all year round
